Why colour light?

Colour is the essence of life

When light is directed at your body, it penetrates deep into your cells. The cells in our body pick up signals from outside, i. e. when you are in a pleasant and soothing environment, your cells will respond to them by programming themselves into a pleasant and quiet mode. If you are in a stressful and chaotic environment, your cells will also adapt to this environment…. you will be stressed. Your cells adapt to the environment in which your physical body is located. Logical in itself, because when the sun shines we generally feel a lot happier and better than when the weather outside is grey and dirty. We can therefore say that light has a positive effect on us.

Color has a greater influence on us than you might think at first. But when you think about it carefully, you will see that colors influence us every day. ¬†For example, this starts in the morning with dressing up, one colour will make you feel better than the other and ultimately determine whether you feel good in what you are wearing. If you feel good in the clothes you wear, you will not only feel this from within, but you will also radiate it. In addition to the colors that we ourselves determine in our choice of clothing and furnishings, our brains are also influenced by external colors. A good example of this is advertising and company logos. The colors they use have not been left to chance, they have been carefully chosen to inspire a certain emotion among consumers. These emotions then provoke us to take a certain action. For example, fast-food chains will choose colors that do attract you (they want you to come in), but they will not be attractive enough to stay for long periods of time (they also want you to get away quickly). Take a look at the picture below and you’ll see that the colors convey the right message.

Color light Let’s go back to our cells…… In addition to picking up signals, cells also transmit signals themselves. For example, your cells already send out a signal when a flu is emerging. They radiate this before your physical body shows the symptoms of flu. In theory, therefore, you could tackle influenza even before it continues.

Albert Einstein discovered in his time that cells react to light and later on other researchers have shown that the combination of light with a certain colour has a “illuminating” effect on cells when they are in a stress or flu mode, for example. At Tweaklite we looked at the colours in combination with light-illuminating effects at certain complaints. With this theory in mind, all Tweaks have been carefully developed.

The use of color light therapy therefore seems to be a logical solution! Incidentally, the use of this method is centuries old and can be traced back to ancient Egypt, among others. The Egyptians made extensive use of color light to treat both physical and mental complaints.

Essence of life
Color could very well be the most magnificent experience we take for granted. Look around; it’s everywhere, surrounding and embracing us. We interpret life as much through color as we do shape, texture and sound. The truth is, the power of color is the very essence of life.

Our most important energy source is light, and the entire spectrum of colors is derived from light. Sunlight, which contains all the wavelengths, consists of the entire electromagnetic spectrum that we depend on to exist on this planet.

Light flows through our eyes and triggers hormone production, which influences our entire complex biochemical system. This biochemical system then affects our being.

We know that each color found in the visible light spectrum has its own wavelength and its own frequency, which produces a specific energy and has a nutritive effect. We know some rays can be dangerous if we are exposed to them. But the visible light, the Colors of the rainbow, has a soothing effect on us. Light is the only energy we can see, and we see it in the form of color.

Our body absorbs color energy through the vibration color gives off. All organs, body systems, and functions are connected to main energy centres. Through color we receive all the energies we need to maintain a healthy body, mind, and soul. The National Institute of Mental Health has done studies showing that our mental health, behaviour, and general efficiency in life depend to a great extent on normal color balance. When something goes wrong, or is out of balance, we can strengthen our energy centres through the conscious use of color.
